EVAN SHEPHERD
Evan was born in Norman, Oklahoma and has lived here for over 22 years. He went through the NPS school system and continues his academic career at the University of Oklahoma. During his time growing up he attended Loveworks Leadership, where he learned valuable skills that would come to help him to this day. He currently works as a Group Lead at Alphabest after school programs, connecting with the community and looking after our youth.

AFFORDABILITY
It is my belief that Affordability is one of the greatest issues facing Americans today. People struggle to maintain themselves on meager wages that don't cover the cost of living, and for many financial stability seems a lifetime away. It is my hope to increase wages and prevent corporate abuse for the betterment of all citizens.
SOONERCARE
I believe that Social Safety Nets such as SoonerCare are important for preserving the ability of people to act independently, and that access to necessary help is a right that should be enjoyed by all. I aim to increase public spending in these areas to expand coverage to as many Oklahomans as possible.
EDUCATION
As someone who works closely with educators working as a part of local after school programs I have keenly felt the changes in Education that have left many children and educators adrift. It is my sincere hope to address these failings in the education system, for the next generation of Oklahomans.
